If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever. (A.A Milne) A star shines brightly in the night sky ✨ Our remarkable babe Jakk has gained his wings and the hole left behind in his Ma's heart we know will never be filled. ?Jakk was found in a dumpster, thrown out like trash no doubt due to his front legs which weren't like the average pups. There was no hesitation in rescuing this pup – no life is more precious or valued. Every life deserves the opportunity to live. The opportunity to know love, family and leave its mark. Edith & WAPP chose to give life and Edith & Ben made the commitment to this pup. A commitment to give him the very best home and opportunity of living. And that he did. His remarkable needs did not stop him from being a typical babe – chasing chickens politely, watching his family eat and 'filling their lives with joy. Cheeky as anything and adorable with a pout that everyone wanted to kiss. Jakk's needs were always put first and the bond between them we know you all understand friends. ?There are never the right words at a time like this. No words that provide comfort although we'd like to try:Thank you Edith for saying yes, for giving Jakk the life he lived. Jakk touched so many around the world with his tenacity to overcome the odds, his love of life and showing the world that every life matters. Without you, this wouldn't have happened so tonight we remember Jakk, what you have done, what we believe in and what we stand for. Stay strong knowing your love and dedication to Jakk lead him to like a remarkable life. Your commitment to rescue and animals is making a difference every single day. Inspiring people and creating change. We ask that you all please remain respectful and invite you to comment with words of love, kindness and sympathy in memory of Jakk for Edith, Ben, Dibley and Vera. Thank you Jo from Shutter Paws for creating this tribute ?Images featured by Jo, Houndstooth Studio by Alex Cearns and Jakk's Mum Edith. #ForTheLoveOfJakk #WAPP #RescueStrong
